Magic Mouse 2 is completely rechargeable, so you’ll eliminate the use of traditional batteries. It’s lighter, has fewer moving parts thanks to its built-in battery and continuous bottom shell, and has an optimized foot design — all helping Magic Mouse 2 track easier and move with less resistance across your desk. And the Multi-Touch surface allows you to perform simple gestures such as swiping between web pages and scrolling through documents. Magic Mouse 2 is ready to go right out of the box and pairs automatically with your Mac. Who are these people?

Magic Mouse scrolling on Windows 8. Ask Question 9. I was searching for magic mouse drivers but unable to find it, So I applied my old technique and it worked! To put it simply, they don't want you to have one on Windows unless it's for your Mac and you're using BootCamp, and seeing as BootCamp does not support Win8 yet, you will.
Anything they don't love is automatically 'the worst thing ever!' All of these extremely low reviews are incredible. As in 'not even remotely credible.' This mouse looks and feels like the last one - only a little lighter. Ergonomics, weight, appearance, functionality. All great things, and all much better than your average third-party product. The mouse plugs in to charge.
And this is somehow horrible? Upside-down is a bit weird and you don't use it while it is charging. How does that make this a one-star product? Don't you ever sleep? Can't you remember to plug your mouse in overnight once a month?
This is way better than having to change the batteries every two weeks. Do you gripe about your phone because you have to put it down once in a while to charge it? So it doesn't work with some of the older system software? Well in most cases, neither should you. How does that make this product abysmal? Your wrist hurts? That is not the mouse's fault.
Operator error does not make a product atrocious any more than a drunk driver makes a a particular brand of car a hazard to drive. This mouse is a great product. An improvement over the already-good last version. Would I prefer a third party mouse over this one? I'll give my five stars right here without apology. More (Read full review). Absolutely HORRIBLE design why in the TECHNICAL WORLD YOU COME FROM would you design a rechargeable product that doesn't allow you to continue to use it if it runs out of a charge?!?!? You could have designed it with the lightning connector in the front and or the back to allow it to charge and still be used as if it were a mouse with a cord. It's elegant design had long held my frustration with random tracking problems and frequent connectivity issues at bay. Over time, though, no matter how thoroughly I cleaned the laser lens, or how many bits of paper I wedged into the battery compartment to prevent movement, it failed me more often than served me. It hit the wall with a very satisfying explosion, and I am happy to be rid of it.

I usually admire Apple design and functionality, but not with this product. More (Read full review).

Unfortunately, the functional aspect was botched on the Magic Mouse 2 because of the inexplicably frustrating and inconvenient placement of the charging port - smack dab on the bottom of the mouse; yes, you read that correctly - you must plug your lightning cable into the bottom of the mouse to charge it - meaning charging and using the mouse simultaneously is logistically impossible. Is it an absolute deal breaker? No, not at all - but it is a very odd decision especially considering Apple's intense focus on design. More (Read full review).

Hello Welcome to the Ten Forums! To be right up front I can't say that I am familiar with the mouse you have there but did end up buying a few dual scroll wheel trackball mice by one company I ended up using on not only the second desktop but a few laptops carrying one with each for use instead of the wear and tear on the touchpads! One older laptop saw a pad where a heavy finger just about made that totally useless! The trackball with the dual scroll wheels of course makes portability a bit easier since all you need is a small flat surface to rest the mouse on. There's no need for drivers since the mouse has the one drawback of 5 buttons but not programmable and works on the Linux as well as Windows platform. Believe it or not the previous Trackball mouse here was an MS Trackball Explorer MS suddenly discontinued several years back that saw programmable button as well as 64bit 7 drivers as the last from the support if not 64bit for Vista which still worked on 7. The left click on that and this particular mouse is by thumb not the right index finger as your standard mouse would be however.
The trackball sees the index finger instead rather then the need to move the mouse around on any surface. Now for instruction about the only to be found on the other OS's mouse you have there one guide for that model on hot to fix scrolling problems might be a help but by comparing notes with how the Control Panel in Windows works except the MouseWheel settings in Windows are strictly for setting how many vertical characters and lines are moved per scroll. That wouldn't any help at all for you there with this.
